Subaru vehicles receive 9 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK Awards from the IIHS

Subaru vehicles have once again set the bar very high when it comes to safety, earning the most IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK awards from the IIHS this year.

The brand received 9 awards for its vehicles, including five TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards, the highest designation handed out by the IIHS. The following vehicles received the top award from the IIHS:

Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid (TSP+ for three consecutive years)
Subaru Forester (TSP for 15 consecutive years)
Subaru Legacy (TSP for 16 consecutive years)
Subaru Outback (TSP for 13 consecutive years)
Subaru Ascent (TSP for four consecutive years)

“We are extremely proud to receive nine IIHS awards for our 2021 model lineup,” said Thomas J. Doll, President and Chief Executive Officer, Subaru of America, Inc. “Our goal is to provide customers with vehicles made to the highest standards of safety, comfort and value.”

Subaru has received more IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards than any other automaker since 2013, and has continuously improved the safety of its vehicles over time, namely with the introduction of the EyeSight driver assistance technology which is standard on most Subaru vehicles.
