Subaru sets new sales record in August

With 5,276 vehicles sold in August, Subaru set a new sales record for the month, surpassing its sales total for August 2019 by 11.5 per cent. The Subaru Forester, Subaru Ascent, and Subaru Outback all recorded impressive growth year-over-year, contributing to the Japanese manufacturer’s success.


The compact Forester recorded 1,371 units sold, a 28.6 per cent increase over the same month last year while the Subaru Outback and Subaru Ascent set records for August as well with 1,072 and 349 units sold, respectively.


“We cannot be more pleased as we continue to deliver tremendous value, safety and reliability to our customers in August,” explained SCI chairman, president and CEO, Yasushi Enami. “We to want go above and beyond to meet the needs of Canadians with our strong dealer network, customer service and award-winning vehicle line-up.”
