Subaru Crosstrek and WRX top J.D. Power 2021 Canada ALG Residual Value Awards

The Subaru Crosstrek crossover and Subaru WRX performance sedan have been named Best-in-Class when it comes to predicted residual value by J.D. Power.

Both won their respective segments in the recent J.D. Power 2021 Canada ALG Residual Value Awards, significant awards that give consumers an overview of which vehicles are expected to keep the highest percentage of their value.

“Our strategic planning always includes providing long-lasting value to our customers,” said SCI chairman, president and CEO Yasushi Enami. “Awards like these give us confidence that our goals are being achieved.”

In simple terms, of all the vehicles they compete with, the 2021 Subaru Crosstrek and 2021 Subaru WRX are expected to retain the highest portion of the MSRP after four years.

“Subaru has demonstrated again that the brand and products consistently deliver industry leading value. For 2021, Subaru is taking home Residual Value Awards for the Subcompact Utility Crosstrek and WRX in the Sportscar segment. These vehicles showcase the variety Subaru has to offer whether it’s exhilarating enthusiast performance behind the wheel of a WRX or the confident practicality and style of the Crosstrek.” - Eric Lyman Vice President, ALG industry solutions at J.D.
