Subaru Canada wins two prestigious awards from AJAC

Subaru Canada won two prestigious awards from the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada at the Montreal Auto Show a few weeks ago. The Subaru Legacy was named Best Car in Canada in 2020 while the Subaru Outback won Best Mid-Size Utility Vehicle in Canada.

This makes both models eligible for the Canadian Car of the Year and Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year for 2020. Both awards will be handed out at the Canadian International Auto Show that will be held in Toronto in mid-February.

“AJAC’s Canadian Car of the Year category award winners are those vehicles deemed by our members to be the best suited to the realities of driving in Canada,” said Stephanie Wallcraft, President of AJAC. “AJAC members comprise the largest collective group of automotive journalism expertise in the country, and they take pride in providing assessments that are objective, fair and based on real-world road-testing experience.”

The Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback were completely redesigned last year and feature a brand-new interior, a more efficient engine lineup and even more refinement.
