Subaru Solterra is Coming in 2022


Over the years, all-electric vehicles have become increasingly popular. Recently, Subaru has decided to throw its hat into the EV ring and has announced the first-ever all-electric Subaru vehicle will be ready to go on sale in 2022.


The 2023 Subaru Solterra is a sleek and stylish SUV that comes with a wide range of advanced features, as well as a powerful all-electric motor. Here is a look at some of the innovative amenities that you can find on the all-new 2023 Subaru Solterra.


Exterior Design



The Subaru Solterra is arguably one of the sportiest and athletic all-electric SUVs on the market today. This stunning vehicle features a futuristic exterior design that is both stunning and sporty. The body is outlined in well-defined lines and sharp, dramatic curves that help to give it a three-dimensional appearance. 


The front of the vehicle features a sculpted hood that gently slopes down towards the faux grille. Right above the "grille," you will find a pair of bright LED headlights that are integrated are slanted slightly and integrated into the hood. In the rear, there is also a pair of bright LED taillights that have a bold wraparound design to ensure that other drivers are able to clearly see the vehicle when travelling on the roadways.


Interior Comfort


The interior offers two rows of spacious seating that can comfortably accommodate up to five adults while offering up to 126 cubic feet of total interior volume. The rear cargo area is also spacious and can be expanded by lowering the rear seats in a 60/40 split. With the back seats folded down, the Solterra is able to provide up to 30 cubic feet of interior cargo space.


High-Tech Entertainment


Sitting tall upon the centre of the dash of the Solterra is a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. This intuitive display comes standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a built-in navigation system. All Solterra models will also come standard with a wireless phone charging pad.


Safety Features


The Solterra comes standard with a wide range of safety and driver-assist features, which include an advanced airbag system, forward-collision warning, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and a blind-spot monitor. This impressive vehicle will also offer an available 360-degree around-view camera.


Powerful and Efficient


The Solterra comes standard with two powerful electric motors that are able to deliver 15 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. The Solterra is not only powerful, but it is also versatile and prepared to go on off-road adventures.


The vehicle comes standard with over 8 inches of ground clearance. It also features four different driving modes, which include Normal, Eco, Power, and X-Mode. The X-Mode option help to provide an even amount of torque to all four tires which will give the vehicle the maximum amount of traction on slippery roadways.
