Technology and Connectivity

The cabin features an 11.6-inch tablet-style touch-screen infotainment system. The audio system supports AM, FM, MP3, and WMA. The SUV’s sound system is a Premium 12-speaker Harman Kardon system which includes a subwoofer and amplifier. This system works well with the infotainment screen’s Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability, letting you sync calls and media to the speakers.

Interior Features and Design

Designed for the long haul, the Outback cares for its driver with a 10-way power adjustable that includes 2-way lumbar support. The material for the seats is an all-weather soft-touch fabric with a geometric pattern. Accent stitching for the model is anodized copper, giving a bold design to the interior and complementing the exterior.

The interior features plenty of cargo space for gear, groceries, and sundries. An area of 2,141 L is available when the seats are folded down and 923 L without the seats being folded. If you’re planning on carrying people and not cargo, the Outback seats a total of five, including the driver.

Exterior Features and Design

A redesigned front grille and bumper add to the rugged exterior, creating a tough exterior. With exclusive 17-inch black painted wheels that are equipped with all-terrain tires, the SUV is ready to take you on your next adventure. The model features four tow hook points, giving you plenty of ways to tow a trailer or vehicle.

Raised suspension gives the model 241 mm of ground clearance. This clearance makes the exterior ideal for off-road use when dealing with uneven and rocky terrain. The clearance also helps in the city when traversing over speedbumps.

Power, Performance, and Fuel

The Wilderness trim features a powerful 260 horsepower engine that can deliver up to 277 lb-ft of torque. This 2.4-litre Turbocharged Direct Injection SUBARU BOXER engine has a fuel economy of 11L/100Km in the city. When on the highway, the fuel consumption rate is 9L/100Km. Combined with the vehicle’s 70-litre fuel tank, you have plenty of range before you need to stop to refuel.

Additionally, the Outback has a total towing capacity of 1,587kg when using the towing brakes.

Safety and Assistance Tools

The vehicle is equipped with several important safety and assistance tools, including Subaru EyeSight. Subaru EyeSight is a handy technology that uses two cameras to map the road ahead, plan for potential hazards, and keep you alert while driving. Features included with EyeSight include pre-collision braking, lane assist, and automatic emergency steering, among several others.

The SUV also offers Reverse Automatic Braking, Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection, and Cruise control. Several features, including airbags, are in place should you experience a collision while driving.
