2023 Subaru Impreza - What's new?

Subaru has been a reliable car brand for years, and the compact car model offers a reliable driving experience. The new 2023 Subaru Impreza offers a fun design and is a superb city-life vehicle. We look at what’s new, the features, specs, trims and pricing if you’re considering reserving your Subaru at Marino's Fine Cars.

What’s New?

While the Impreza is due a major update one of these days, there seem to be no significant changes from the 2022 model to the 2023 model. Most of the new updates the Impreza offers are improved cabin quality and updated architecture.

Features

The exterior of the 2023 Subaru model offers a sporty and clean look, with the mounted roof spoiler increasing the vehicle’s aerodynamics. You can also choose to add a power sunroof to allow fresh air and sunshine into your vehicle.

The standard wheels are 40.64cm 15-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, but you can upgrade them to 43.18cm or 45.72cm 10-spoke wheels on some trims. You have a 16.51cm touchscreen which you use to operate your infotainment system, from your SUBARU STARLINK and navigation systems to your Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatible systems.

Specs

This vehicle has a 2.0L SUBARU BOXER engine with a four-cylinder system that offers crisp handling and up to 152 hp. The torque is 196.6 nm, with low fuel efficiency on the highways of 7.7L/100 KM, while the city is around 10.1L/100 KM using the MT5 manual transmission.

If you upgrade to the CVT automatic transmission, your city fuel efficiency is 8.4L/100 KM, and your highway efficiency is 6.6L/100 KM. The dual active valve control system ensures your engine runs smoothly, and the rock-solid chassis keeps the body of your car lightweight with easy handling yet sturdy enough to be secure.

Trims

There are seven available trims, with the four base trims being Convenience, Touring, Sport, and Sport-Tech. The Sport-tech trim, and all other trims, can also come with EyeSight technology. Trims with EyeSight technology use a CVT transmission instead of 5MT. The other changes are some exterior design features, the wheel type, and the size of your infotainment screen.

Pricing

The Convenience trim is the base model and starts at $23,295. The starting price can go up to $32,895, depending on the trim you’re using as your base and any extra features you add to the car. You can buy the car on lease or using finance and choose how many months you want to pay off the vehicle. It can range from $1,240.24 per month at 2.99% for 24 months to $544.99 at 5.99% for 60 months.
