The starting price of the Forester depends on the trim you choose and whether you add any extras. The Base starts at $26,395, the Premium starts at $29,395, the Sport starts at $30,965, the Limited starts at $33,075, the Wilderness starts at $34,020, and the Touring starts at $36,495.


Trim Comparison


The 2023 Subaru Forester Base comes standard with electric windows, a front centre console, USB-A input/charge connections, a multi-function display, remote keyless entry, and a colour LCD combination metre. It has 17-inch silver alloy wheels, a ladder-like roof rail system, a 6.5-inch StarLink multimedia plus display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, SiriusXM, Travellink and a CD player.

The 2023 Subaru Forester Premium has better ride quality, convenience amenities, and technology. The All-Weather package features heated seats, body colour mirrors, and a wiper de-icer. This trim also comes with a 10-way power driver's seat with power lumbar support, 17-inch black aluminium alloy wheels, and a panoramic power sunroof. Its standard X-MODE boosts off-road performance. This trim includes a leather steering wheel, silver stitching, chrome door handles, automatic emergency steering, dual USB-A charging connections, and a power rear gate with automatic closure and height memory.

The 2023 Subaru Forester Sport offers blind-spot detection, lane-change assist, dual USB-A charging ports, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic emergency steering. The exterior is enhanced with a black gloss finish, a black roof spoiler, and 18-inch wheels. Its X-MODE increases performance, and the add-on package includes reverse automatic braking, an 8-inch StarLink multimedia plus, Harman Kardon premium speakers, and a rear power gate.

The 2023 Subaru Forester Limited comes with black, machine-finished 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels, body-colour exterior mirrors, and dark grey fog light trim. The back centre console has two USB-A charging ports and a power gate.

The 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness's mechanical, design, and functional upgrades improve off-road capability. The Wilderness has a half inch more ground clearance and comes with a full-size spare tire. Additionally it comes with skid plates, hexagonal LED fog lights, a grille, a hood decal, StarTex seats, all-weather mats, a baggage tray,  a Harman Kardon premium sound system, a motorised rear gate, and an 8-inch StarLink multimedia navigation system. 

The 2023 Subaru Forester Touring trim includes a DriverFocus distraction mitigation system that allows the driver to adjust the climate by pointing up or down. It also includes a heated driver’s seat, heated front passenger seat, outboard rear seats, and perforated black or saddle brown leather. It boasts a 10-way power driver’s seat and an 8-way front passenger seat.
