The body is now 4cm wider to give a lower centre of gravity, while approach and departure angles have both been raised by a tenth. All this combines to make the Wilderness entirely at home on gradients of up to 40 degrees.

But while the Wilderness's focus is firmly on the off-road experience, the interior is surprisingly comfortable and boasts plenty of advanced technology. A large 11.6" touchscreen is mounted in portrait mode for easy accessibility, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay delivering smart device integration.
