Japanese car manufacturer Subaru decided that it was time for an upgrade. Introducing the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek, a versatile subcompact crossover that can help you tackle anything, from your city-life needs to your latest outdoor adventures.


As one of the golden children, the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is designed to make you feel comfortable and safe. In fact, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration gave  the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek an overall rating of five stars for excellence in safety practices.


The Best Features


The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek’s exterior has bold, athletic features. It has a sharp front grille, making the front bumper look prominent. An LED fog lamp bezel helps improve your visibility and cuts through murky conditions. Enhanced automatic on/off headlights for brighter and safer driving.


It also includes next-generation technology. There are two cameras of EyeSight Driver-Assist Technology to help you avoid potential dangers. There is a vehicle dynamics control sensor, Anti-lock Braking System and Hill Start Assist.


It is also larger than its predecessor, and it has so much to offer. Let’s break it down.


Convenience


This is the base model of the SUV. It features all-new ergonomically designed seats. There’s a spacious cargo area in the back. The front seats and steering are heated. There’s a 6.3-inch Multi-function Colour Display. Also included is a 6.5-inch entertainment system, connected with Subaru Starlink system and compatible with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.


Touring


For the Touring model, you will get de-icing windshield wipers (perfect for wintertime), an additional CD player, six speakers and a free three-month trial of SiriusXM services.


Outdoor


The Outdoor model’s entertainment system has an upgraded to 8-inch screen while keeping the same specs from the Touring model. You will also get a front-view camera and rear and side detection system.


Sport


The Sport model includes a power tilting and sliding-glass sunroof, steering-responsive LED headlights and EyeSight Driver-Assist Technology. It also has High-Beam Assist and Reverse Automatic Braking. 


Limited


The Limited model will get all of the features above, 18-inch dark grey painted aluminum wheels, voice-activated GPS navigation and SMS text messaging.


The Ultimate Specs


As an all-wheel drive, every type of 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is equipped with the best specifications. The base features include a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that has 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque, rear privacy glass, a height-adjustable driver seat, and automatic climate control.


If you decide to upgrade to a higher model, you’ll get more items and already included upgraded options. One of them is a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that has 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque, and a complimentary three-year subscription to the Subaru Starlink system.


The Prices


There are five models of 2022 Subaru Crosstrek available with eight different starting prices. It starts with the Convenience model, starting from $23,995. Then, the prices increase as you go through the rest of the models, Touring, Outdoor and Sport. And finally, the most expensive model, the Limited, is priced at a starting price of $34,795.
