2020 Subaru BRZ

The 2020 Subaru BRZ is a true sports car. Whether drivers let it loose on the open highway or use the Subaru BRZ to zip through traffic in Toronto, they will realize authentic sports car performance. Subaru is well-known for their safe, reliable, and versatile vehicles; however, the BRZ is truly a stand-alone coupe among a line-up of sedans and SUVs. Its raw driving experience provides true adrenaline to drivers and passengers alike. Yet, it is so much more than just a sports car--it is surprisingly practical and affordable to almost everyone.

2020 Subaru BRZ Performance

The 2020 Subaru BRZ is not lacking in performance. It combines unique engineering, an aerodynamically sculpted shape, and a low centre of gravity to provide superior stability to hug corners and slice through the wind. Its precise handling makes the BRZ a true driver's car. While it only seats four (and the back row is small), it also has practical purposes as a daily driver.

The 2020 Subaru BRZ comes equipped with a 2.0-litre Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC), 16-valve 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine that features electronic throttle control and dual active valve control system. It offers 205 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque. It tops out at a speed of 216 km/h and can go from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. Drivers can choose to equip this rear-wheel drive machine with either a manual or automatic transmission.

2020 Subaru BRZ Trim Levels

The 2020 Subaru BRZ is offered in four trim levels in Toronto: the BRZ, Sport-tech, Sport-tech RS, and BRZ tS.

The BRZ model starts at $27,995, has seats for four passengers, and comes standard with a manual transmission, 7-inch infotainment system with navigation, has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, and features a rearview camera.

The Sport-tech model starts at $31,395 and builds upon the lowest model by switching to an automatic transmission and including heated front seats with leather.

The Sport-tech RS starts at $31,895 and is geared toward those wanting more performance, adding performance Brembo brakes and performance SACHS dampers.

The highest-level BRZ tS starts at $33,795 and really goes all out for performance with STI-tuned SACHS performance dampers, STI-tuned coil springs, STI-tuned front suspension flexible V-bar, and 18-inch high performance tires.

2020 Subaru BRZ Features

The BRZ is a driver's car, built for speed and performance. Buyers will not find a lot of upgrades on the vehicle, such as any of Subaru's EyeSight driver-assist technology, though other safety aids are standard, such as hill start assist, vehicle stability control, airbags, and more.

The BRZ features a cabin with a straight-forward design and an infotainment system that opts for actual knobs over touchscreen controls. The front bucket seats are incredibly supportive and keep the driver upright without being uncomfortable.

In the end, the 2020 Subaru BRZ is a true performance sports car. It might not have all the heavy technology of other vehicles, but it is designed to slice through traffic with quiet efficiency.
