2022 Subaru Ascent models

The 2022 Subaru Ascent models are based on the Subaru Global Architecture (SGA) platform. The 2022 Subaru Ascent is the long-awaited first three-row SUV for the Japanese automaker.


Models and features 


The 2022 Subaru Ascent models are available in Convenient, Premium, Limited, Onyx, and Touring trim levels. The Convenient model starts with 18-inch wheels, roof rails, a rearview camera, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a six-speaker audio system with satellite radio are also on the standard equipment list.


The Premium model on his side includes heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and rear-seat climate controls. This model has an upgraded multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, voice controls, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.


The Limited is also available in a seven-passenger or eight-passenger seating configuration and joins the Premium package content. 


An optional package for the Limited model adds great comfort options. It contains the panoramic sunroof, navigation system, charging, deck, and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system.


The Touring brings together all the features and options of the Limited. In addition, it adds chrome exterior accents, a 120-volt power outlet, and a total of eight USB ports. It will include a front camera and a rearview mirror, which allows you to see behind even if your normal view is blocked by passengers or cargo.


Engine


The 2022 Subaru Ascent models have a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with 260 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired to a variable automatic transmission (CVT). The All-wheel drive system comes as a standard option.


Interior Design  


The 2022 Subaru Ascent models interiors feel roomy with plenty of leather and intuitive technology to provide a pleasant ride. The Ascent's interior seating is comfortable and attractive. Temperature control works perfectly to keep the cabin environment pleasant. The rear passengers will appreciate the roof-mounted vents that provide good coverage.


The 2022 Subaru Ascent models have great cargo space, with 17.6 cubic feet behind the third row and 86 cubic feet folded with the second and third rows. 


Technology


Consumers love this model for its features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Touchscreens with large on-screen icons are easy to see and respond quickly to your inputs. There is an 8-inch touchscreen for all models except for the Convenient model's infotainment system, which uses a 6.5-inch screen.


Safety


It brings stability and traction control and a rearview camera. Also included is Subaru's EyeSight driver-assist technology. Also included is a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning.


The convenience model Starts at $37,295, but it is advised to select the Onyx model at $44,995. This model provides the best balance of desirable features and value.
