Pricing announced for 09 Impreza lineup by Auto123.com

Subaru's just announced pricing on their 2009 Impreza lineup, saying that each model therein will offer shoppers even more car for the money than in the past. Available in a sedan or five-door model, Subaru offers the Impreza in several trim and performance levels to suit a variety of buyer needs- from simple and economical transportation to high-performance rally-tuned performance. 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX Starting the range is the Impreza 2.5i, which now includes 4-wheel disc brakes, Vehicle Dynamics Control, and an auxiliary audio input jack as standard gear. The entry level Impreza starts at $20,995- though shoppers can opt for a Sport Package that adds a moonroof and satellite radio, raising the vehicle's price to $24,695. The Sport Package also adds a spoiler and exhaust tips when fitted to the sedan model. The Impreza WRX is now available in two models. The WRX, with a 224 horsepower turbocharged engine will sticker at $30,995, or $2,000 less than in 2008. Additionally available is a new WRX265 model, which receives a power boost to 265 horses as well as a new suspension and body-kit. The WRX265 is priced at $33,995. Topping out the Impreza range is the WRX STI- which starts at $39,995 with a six-speed manual gearbox. For $45,995, shoppers can equip their STI with a Sport Tech Package which adds navigation, BBS wheels and a Bluetooth phone interface.
